atelier de traction de ForestThe Forest TGV train workshop is responsible for maintaining the following trains:

  • Thalys trains running between Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and Cologne,
  • TGVs running between Paris and Brussels,,
  • Eurostar trains running between Brussels and London and between Paris and London,
  • TGVs to the South of France.
  • This specialised workshop was built in 1992-1993. The workshop has 5 work halls. The one for the maintenance of TGV trains is 430 metres long. Close to the workshop there is a covered, automatic, hyper-modern installation for washing trains. A digitally controlled double pit tower makes it possible to reshape 2 axles of the same bogie at the same time. The workshop also has a work hall for maintainingclassical carriages.
