National Journey

Up to 24 hrs before departure for any journey (with or without connections) at 131 train stations

Up to 3 hrs before departure for a direct journey (without connections) between 6.30 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. and between two of the following 41 train stations:

Aarschot, Anvers-Central, Arlon, Audenarde, Blankenberge, Braine-le-Comte, Bruges, Brussels Airport-Zaventem, Bruxelles-Central, Bruxelles-Midi, Bruxelles-Nord, Charleroi-Sud, Courtrai, Denderleeuw, Gand-Dampoort, Gand-Saint-Pierre, Genk, Hasselt, La Louvière-Sud, La Panne, Libramont, Liège-Guillemins, Lierre, Lokeren, Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve, Malines, Marloie, Mol, Mons, Namur, Nivelles, Ostende, Ottignies, Rochefort-Jemelle, Saint-Nicolas, Termonde, Tournai, Turnhout, Verviers-Central, Zottegem.

If you have to change during your trip, a connecting time of 15 minutes is provided.

Persons with reduced mobility, on foot or whose disability allows them to get out of their wheelchair and board the train without a mobile ramp, are eligible for the tailor-made assistance service also available in other Belgian stations subject to the availability of our staff and the 24 hours in advance booking process.

On the day of travel, please make sure to arrive at the set meeting point at least 20 minutes before your train's scheduled departure.

Specific fares and places for rail passengers in wheelchairs

Eurostar, Thalys and TGV® offer special fares for passengers in wheelchairs providing access to a designated wheelchair spaces in first class, meaning wheelchair users can travel without having to get out of their wheelchair. Therefore, wheelchair users can travel in first class (with their companion) for the price of a standard second class ticket.

This designated wheelchair space must be booked when purchasing the rail ticket (subject to availability).

To book your discounted rail ticket in 1st class with a designated space for your wheelchair:
Call 02 432 38 01, Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 20.00; weekends and public holidays from 09.00 to 16.30.

On the day of travel, please make sure to arrive at the set meeting point at least 30 minutes (Eurostar: 60 minutes) before your train's scheduled departure.
